I’m going up again shortly to the northern part of Iceland to revisit some friends, and it will be good fun. This time, I’ll have to remonstrate them to come out with me on a little print adventure…

Right prior to you get to Akureyri, the highway twists along a hollow that runs next to these mountains. They are pleasing and scenic, but very formidable to photograph. You keep seeking and seeking and seeking for an angle, and it never quite functions out. we found this one by accident.

There was a little side highway that looked interesting. we took it, and then it almost rught away went off the side of a hill! It turns out it wasn’t a side-road at all, but some kind of fake-road meant to pretence reticent people like me. So, after shifting to a stop, we went out to see if my 4th circle was swinging over the side. It wasn’t, but we did see a little trail that went down by the river. we suspicion there might be a good vantage point, so we took my supply down there to get this shot.
