THE SHUTTLE PREPARES

Another Shuttle Launch

I’m so vehement to be going back for the last launch of the Atlantis! It’s all so awesome… and, even be there, it will be during my 40th birthday. Even though my happenstance revolutions around the object at 1 AU are a utterly capricious dimensions of age, it’s the one we all use, so there ya go.

Gordon’s Launch Experience

My crony Gordon Laing from CameraLabs.com made his own video when we were out there together, which he not long ago entered into the Queenstown Film Festival. It’s pretty cold – because he’s a friend, we stayed in the same hotel, and so on… the only disproportion is that we flew back for the tangible launch while he watched from New Zealand. See his video here.

Daily Photo – The Shuttle Prepares

On the day prior to the launch, we was ushered out a few football fields divided from the shuttle. It was surreal being so close, even though we longed for to be closer…closer…closer…. but the 28-300 (See the Nikon 28-300 Review) was copiousness lens enough to get in parsimonious so you can see all the sum of the convey and the launch trickery skunkworks…

See all my NASA shots here…

BTW, we met him in chairman AFTER he wrote the review. we was in the press area removing interviewed on NASA TV, after we had just found out the convey launch had been scrubbed. Right when we finished, Pogue came using up the steps to the press area, and we pronounced hello and had a reduced conversation.

Besides that, we also combined 100Camerasin1.com that will enclose all the ultimate info for the apps. And yes, as you can see, Android chronicle is in the works… Read more…

Daily Photo – Big Ben at Dusk

Halfway through the PhotoWalk in London, we stopped here at Big Ben to get a shot. It’s a little difficult for me infrequently to do this while on a PhotoWalk because we can’t entirely concentration on the photography. we have to talk, explain, converse, answer questions, and the like. Don’t get me wrong… we adore all that stuff. But we do find it hard to entirely concentration on the photography side of the evening!

EPIC STORM HITS NASA PRIOR TO CONVEY LAUNCH

A Long Day on the Cape

I’ll speak all about my day at NASA in a after post… I’m super-duper tired… but we longed for to share this print we just took of a large charge unconditional over the formidable on the dusk prior to the launch.

I was ostensible to be going over to the tangible launch desk pad as night was descending to get a shot, but this charge proposed to hurl in, upsetting those plans. The big make up you see on the other side of the dwindle is the Vehicle Assembly Building, and that blue make up you see to the left is the important countdown-clock you regularly see in front of the press area prior to the launch.

Right as we was receiving this, an central woman from NASA ran into the margin notice me that this was now a “Level 2 lightning alert!” we occur to be station by another NASA Tweetup invitee, Lavar Burton. He asked, “Is that like a Level 3 diagnostic?” Greatness. He was a really cold guy, btw… we put up a print of us together over on my Facebook Page.
