Entry from: Windsor, United Kingdom Entry Title: “Day Tour Part 1: Windsor Castle” Entry: “This was our most touristy day – we took a day-long train tour. Normally I’m not a air blower of train tours, nonetheless I’ve had good practice with small backpacker tours. we do use them for covering a lot of belligerent quickly, generally for places that aren’t easy to entrance around open transit. Our debate lonesome Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and the city of Bath – we couldn’t presumably have finished all of that on our own, generally not in one day. (I did a identical debate in Ireland in 2004 so we could see the Ring of Kerry/Iveragh Peninsula.) we did feel like part of a organisation of sheep at some points, but our debate beam was very good (and had a lovely, if rsther than uppity, accent) and gave us lots of tidbits of information, which of course I’ve lost now. She also translated all she pronounced into Japanese for the good of a few members of our group. Her voice sounded rsther than sap by the end of the day! We met early, at a long-distance train hire in London. (We took a taxi to get there when a train didn’t spin up. Note on London cabbies – they aren’t undone doctors from India. All the ones we encountered were white British men.) It took a surprisingly long time to get out of the city, simply because of the size of it. The

SUN BUSTING THROUGH STORMCLOUDS DURING NASA

Want to follow the pre-launch activities?

Follow me @TreyRatcliff and the #NASATweetup hashtag on Twitter.

Also, Robert Scoble (and many others) will be with me at the launch, and we figure we’ll be using Google+ quite a bit too to post updates, photos, and the like, so that’s another fun place to watch.

Daily Photo – Sun Busting Through Stormclouds at NASA

I was in the Tweetup tent you do something terribly critical but utterly complicated when Stu Maschwitz came in and told me that the charge clouds were violation on our shores. So we got my little supply and went outward to see the matter.

We get these kind of outrageous absolute summer clouds in Texas too. The kind that hurl in on a too-hot day and you have a feeling that something absolute is a-comin’. You tie down the cows and take the the one preferred sheep down to the groundwork because it’s gonna be a long night…

The object darted in and out of the clouds, and we grabbed it just as it peeked through a small hole it tore in the thunderhead.

He was down from Dallas and came to attend to my speak the other dusk about blogging and photography… We talked a little about this new course, and we told him that we feel a little droll when people like him keep in attendance all of my assorted classes and stuff. we try to only put something out when it is new and uninformed so there is not a lot of old, rehashed stuff. Anyway, we think you’ll suffer it… and appreciate you Cliff for your kind difference last night.

Here is a little video preview for you! To see more and get a full course listing, just revisit the HDR Video Tutorial page.

Daily Photo – Nobody Needs Dramatic Sheep

I’ve posted two Iceland photos in a row! This is distinct me…yes, but I’m vehement about Iceland. And, this is one of the photos we made in the video above.

I think people that frequency see sheep are preoccupied by sheep. This is very treacherous to people that outlay a lot of time around sheep. I’m sure people in Iceland find that outsiders find sheep WAY too interesting. But, to us outsiders, we see these smashing little white puffs, logging around… the peaceful way they drift over the soothing territory like clouds on a immature sky

If you wizz in parsimonious on this one, you’ll see there are essentially 3 sheep there on the left… the one in the back is just being a little sheepish.

It was engaging to see how the turf changed. This area is more farming and the rolling plateau and hilly landscape dominate. (Of course, the sheep are rsther than abundant there as well.) Our first stop was in the locale of Clifden at the Alcock and Brown Hotel. They offering us nominal tea and biscuits. Read more…
