A Grey Card can assistance you find the scold bearing when sharpened in primer – but is much more utilitarian for creation sure your colours are correct. Why a gray card? Well all cameras think the universe is half way in between black and white and that’s what they try to make the tones in your cinema proportion to. So when you know how to use a gray label you can make sure the bearing is correct. For colour improvement a neutral gray shows up colour casts. For example if the light’s a bit blue the gray label will look a bit blue – or pinkish or immature or whatever.
