Enjoyed the Live NASA Hangout!

The launch was incredible, and we enjoyed the live part beforehand. I’ll try to do more of these in the future… the problem is regularly removing a good tie while we am out and about, but that should get simpler over time… it’s arrange of like a practical photowalk!

I’ve driven this highway back and onward in between Queenstown and Glenorchy about 6 times, and we can’t wait for to do 100x that!

They are so vigourously high that the clouds that turn off them are regularly different, and the light that falls on them is ceaselessly changing.

A Long Day on the Cape

I’ll speak all about my day at NASA in a after post… I’m super-duper tired… but we longed for to share this print we just took of a large charge unconditional over the formidable on the dusk prior to the launch.

I was ostensible to be going over to the tangible launch desk pad as night was descending to get a shot, but this charge proposed to hurl in, upsetting those plans. The big make up you see on the other side of the dwindle is the Vehicle Assembly Building, and that blue make up you see to the left is the important countdown-clock you regularly see in front of the press area prior to the launch.

Right as we was receiving this, an central woman from NASA ran into the margin notice me that this was now a “Level 2 lightning alert!” we occur to be station by another NASA Tweetup invitee, Lavar Burton. He asked, “Is that like a Level 3 diagnostic?” Greatness. He was a really cold guy, btw… we put up a print of us together over on my Facebook Page.
