Things were so wet, in fact, that they spoken part of Hawaii a mess area!  I was there for about a week with Tom Anderson, and he was so vehement to uncover me his second home… he had big dreams of fancy-free days, receiving photos on balmy beaches… be we had very little of that…  However, we did my best to furnish a lot of images while there… here’s the first one we longed for to share with you.

Daily Photo – The Secret Crystal Lake

This is the print we discussed in the video on top of when we got around to the bit where we common our own photos.

This remote lake was so icy cold.  You would think it’s about 33 degrees or something, right?  It felt like comprehensive zero.  I forsaken a little square of my tripod in here and my palm almost froze off perplexing to collect it.

In the stretch you can see where the glacier comes into hit with the slick lake; it gives a clarity of the epic scale here.

The new Google offices in Los Angeles are right in the heart of Venice.  After flitting through some hardcore security, you travel down this hallway, which we theory is a bit like failing and going to Google heaven.

You probably know about all the assorted Google doodles that adorn the home page.  I listened the first one was of Burning Man.  I didn’t see that one on the walls… but may be you can!

I found this place through Stuck on Earth.  We have a Top 50 Secret Spots list in the app from my crony Thomas Hawk.  It got me a good shot seeking in the other direction.  But then, we very simply incited around and saw this out the other window!
