Another From the Class

We worked on this one during the category (see the Photography Course) as an practice in composition. Students took their images and saw how many different photos they could make out of it. we saw lots of very good new compositions that we never though of! When done, they posted their versions to the Clubhouse… and it is still fun to go through there and look at the assorted versions that are made! Grey London in Color Read more…

THE OLD FARMHOUSE DURING SUNRISE

9 Exposures

I don’t customarily take 9 exposures from +4 to -4, but we did bust that out in this case. we put all 9 photos in the Clubhouse so others could give this a go… it is a pretty severe shot all around, as you might suspect.

People ask how long it takes me to do these… It’s a hard thing to answer. The thing is, we am very fast, so whatever number we contend might be incomprehensible because of how discerning we am with macros and stuff. However, after observant that, it does take me from 10 mins to 3 hours on each photo. This one took about two hours.

Daily Photo – The Old Farmhouse at Sunrise

Sometimes we feel a little droll about opening up gates to go into places… but no one was around, and this place looked pretty abandoned. And, really, I’m pretty trusting and don’t meant any harm…so, we just kinda let myself in, you know? Yes approbation we know we shouldn’t do it… but we just non-stop up the gate, walked around the a back side of this deserted place, took some photos, then left.
