Tomorrow I’ll give out a good understanding on the HDR Video Tutorial!  So get ready…  until then, here is a new picture next for you that we just took last night… a little Thanksgiving mutation for you!

Daily Photo – Roanoke Island Lighthouse

I’m on vacation family for Thanksgiving here on Roanoke Island, and we went out last night after a charge to take some photos. This area is well known for pleasing lighthouses, so we put myself on a little mission.

I didn’t primarily devise on going out to take photos. It proposed with a lope on the beach a bit prior to sunset. we was jogging north, listening to good music, and the object was on me. But, forward of me, the clouds were dim and scary, like the ones encircling Mordor. One of those surreal scenes unfolded in front of me… may be you know the kind. The object illuminated all ideally next the horizon, and on tip of the setting was complicated and foreboding. It was then that we decided that it would be an engaging night for photos!

So we jogged back to the house, got my rig, and headed out. All this while, we was still in shorts and a t-shirt, which were now soppy with sleet since the clouds had come to cover me up on the way home. we gathering to this circuitously lighthouse, but there was no good way to get this angle. The trees in front were about 8 feet high, and there was no mangle in them… the only thing we could do is lift my automobile over (a rented minivan), and stand up on tip with my tripod. There are not many things more sleazy than the tip of a soppy minivan! So, I’m sure we looked like quite a dope clambering my way up there… but up there we got.

This one is tone graded a bit. we combined some red, forsaken the gamma, and increasing the gain. we longed for to give it a warm/sunny look. Did we succeed?
