MAN SKETCHING IN UZèS

2-3 years but a miss!

Publishing a new print every day is really hard! 4-5 years ago we would skip 5-10 days out of the year, but we think I’ve been pretty plain for the last 2-3 years. Sometimes, we skip the midnight deadline that is self-imposed, but we regularly get one up prior to the following midnight. But, it’s no problem, really… patently we suffer you do it! :)

Daily Photo – Man Sketching in Uzès

After spending the day on foot around the old market, we proposed to travel back to where we started. Weaving through small alleys, we would spasmodic come in incomparable courtyards. In one of them, we saw this man, sitting on a step, and sketching the scene.

When we took the photo, he looked up and gave a little smile, then went back to his business.

TRAINS ACROSS EUROPE

The Rebekka Project

You all recollect Rebekka Guðleifsdóttir? How could you dont think about a last name like that? Over 3 years ago, we met her in Iceland and did a post called “Rebekka in Action“, in box you have not listened of her…

Anyway, Rebekka has a new photography project, and she’s usurpation donations for people that want to be part of it.

Daily Photo – Trains Across Europe

The Europeans are so propitious to have a semi-functional sight system. I’m sure many of them find reasons to complain, but to me, it’s all pretty awesome. The thought of a operative sight system is pretty unfamiliar to Americans.

This thought that you can get on a sight in one city and then hop-skip your way to another city is kind of a novel thought to us! If you’re in Houston, for example, and you confirm to go to Dallas, then “getting on the train” isn’t even one of the things that crosses your mind. we don’t know that much about the newcomer rail system in the US, and we theory that equates to the in pretty apocalyptic shape. Without even asking, we can almost pledge our greatest newcomer rail use is subsidized by the government. And that, of course, equates to that we am privately profitable for something that we know zero about.

I’m reminded of this when we go to Europe and can get on a sight in Montpellier and end up here, in Barcelona. And not only that, but the sight stations are all pretty engaging to explore.
