INSIDE A DOME

Reorganizing My Library

So, I’m spending a few days organizing my digital library. Jeez. It’s never easy! Here are some things we am going through:

- My biggest find/purchase of this year is a Thunderbolt Pegasus drive. we paid for it off the Apple website (not a freebie)… but, man… it is so awesome. we speak about it at 49:17 on the Hangout Video at

- Here is a screenshot of my increasingly orderly Lightroom, interjection to the Pegasus:

- As for my total workflow, we am going to give a speak here in Austin with Apple… It’s on Oct twenty-two at 7 PM. I’ll give more sum on that later, if you want to watch. we don’t know if they’ll let me do a live Hangout, but we will try. I’ll give out some giveaway copies of my Digital Workflow ebook from Flatbooks.com

- One quirky thing we am still operative out with my Thunderbolt megadrive is that we have two Lightroom libraries (a small one for the highway and a big one at home). we theory we am good with that. we just need to get my conduct around a good system for this. Maybe we just won’t confirm and I’ll wait for on this new Adobe Carousel thing to see what that’s all about.

- Speaking of that, WHEN will we know more about Adobe Carousel? we just assimilated their beta… so we will fool around with it and let you know… presumption they let me speak about it – we will ask.

Daily Photo – Inside the Dome

This pleasing architecture was inside one of the side-cloisters in the Forbidden City. we recollect spending about 5 mins perplexing to line this up inside the camera. These can be very formidable to re-align in Photoshop. But, luckily, all my preparations paid off and it came out pretty good right out of the camera!
