By the way, some people brought this up in yesterday’s post about the Austin Airport Not Support Artists. Not that the Ausitn Airport is a non-profit… but it did parent a good event to speak about this, since we think it will be beneficial to people that are meddlesome in licensing.

We do a lot of licensing… and we meant a lot… we hoop dozens per week, and infrequently a lot more. It generates poignant income from all sorts of licensees, so we have a lot knowledge in this area. Since all my work is Creative Commons Non-Commercial, many people think, “Oh, well that equates to non-profits can use it for free!” And this comes opposite in many emails.

However, we still assign non-profits full price. Non-profit does not meant non-commercial. Non-profits are still money-making organizations that can have poignant income and poignant losses (often in the millions). Many non-profits want to use my imagery on websites, brochures, advertisements, and the like to beget income for the company. They then use these revenues to compensate losses like salaries, cars, food, air travel, and whatever other commercial operation needs. we cruise shopping picture promotion rights to be on standard with all the other expenses.

I really over-scheduled myself on this day.  It proposed out early and was 100% full of photography activity!  I don’t recollect carrying a gangling 5 mins just to lay there and section out…. we do try to devise a little zone-out time, but this day we didn’t.  I kind of set up my day like we was personification an RTS game, creation sure we never had any resting workers.

After we got off the blood vessel at Marylebone station, we exited into this scene. This is the little area we crossed every day to get from the blood vessel into my hotel. It looked so undiluted in the sleet that we just had to take a photo…even though we was dog-tired.
