Transcript: Aaron Wulf: How should photographers be station up for themselves when it comes to income and their clients? How do you safeguard you get paid what you’re value every time? Cliff Mautner: Boy, that’s a good question. we think each chairman is different. we think I’m at the theatre in my career where we might hook a little, but I’ll never break. If it’s a Friday in February, I’ll hook a little bit more than we will on a Friday in April. I’ll still hook a little bit, but I’m not going to hook for a Saturday in Oct or a Saturday in September. we think people have to assimilate that they need to get paid what they’re value and to certitude themselves — and to be assured about their work, and assimilate that what they’re doing, there’s a cost to it. Even when they’re just beginning, they can’t look at it as if, ‘Well, I’m removing paid for my hobby.
