ZURICH DURING SUNSET
Thanks again!
Several months ago we asked for recommendations about places to revisit in Switzerland, so we longed for to appreciate you again for your input… it really helped us to have a good trip!
Daily Photo – Zurich at Sunset
We had a good dusk in Zurich. We found a poetic little Italian food grill and all was wonderful. Our dish accomplished just as nightfall sprang on us, so we had a good travel through the city to find this mark to watch the sunset.

Non-Photography Pockets?
I notice that as we pierce around China that there are not many photographers. It’s not like the US or Europe where you spasmodic see a few people out and about with a DSLR — but not in China. we think it is part of a more ubiquitous clarity of art being reduction critical there. Or, may be “less important” is not the right thing to say. Perhaps artists are just not speedy as much here… this seems to be the view we listen to when we speak to lots of Chinese people here.
Daily Photo – Shopping in Beijing
Megamalls are everywhere here. And many of them are as pleasing and exuberant as this one. In some ways, i think it is kind of cold that all is ultra-modern and slick… in other ways, it’s not because it feels like we am back in Dallas or something… know what we mean?
Who knows… the Chinese people appear to adore it… who am we to say….

PETER MENDELSUND TALKS WITH CHIP KIDD.
My old desk-top sketch list with T-Square is still disposition opposite the window, though it’s pretty well hidden. And we skip the photo-stat camera, with which we used to make a lot of cover art prior to scanners or even tone xerox.
