Preview of Matt_wayton’s blog at TravelPod. Read the full blog here: www.travelpod.com This blog preview was made by TravelPod using the TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow creator. Entry from: San Francisco, United States Entry Title: “If your going to San Francisco…” Entry: “On the way to SF we stopped at UC Davis and UC Berkley to see the campuses. Davis was carrying a graduation and was very treacherous to get around. Wasn’t many restaurants and things to do from what we saw. Too many nicer schools on the west seashore in my opinion. Next was Berkley, very good campus from the little we saw. Berkley is a small city lots of places to eat and things to do. Only censure is the parking situation, very little available and very expensive. Also a lot of trade goes in and out of there, too much for the small city too handle. SF Day 1: After navigating our road house through complicated trade over the brook overpass and almost 90 grade mountain inclines in the city we got there. We first checked out Chinatown. Chinatown is like a small city inside of the city, much bigger than NYC’s version. Makes you feel like your essentially there with all the asians using around. Blocks and blocks of shops and restaurants. We then got a 3 day trolly automobile pass that lets you get on and off at your convenience you want. Very available deliberation our road house is at one of their stops. The wire cars are great, something you gotta do when here, classical SF. We then rode it down to Fisherman’s quay and walked around a little bit. All

NEW SMUGMUG VID! WANT TO SEE EVEN SOME-MORE BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIDEOS?

SmugMug Review

You guys know that I’ve been using SmugMug for years. If you want to try it out, they gave me a bonus formula of STUCKINCUSTOMS to save you money. To really get the full dip and review to Flickr etc etc, see the full SmugMug Review here on the site.

Want to see more behind-the-scenes videos???

So, even though this video next is patently a promo for SmugMug (they didn’t compensate me btw), we suspicion it was SO COOL that we longed for to share it. The man that filmed it, Anton Lorimer, is positively fantastic.

So, we favourite it so much, that we was meditative about bringing him with me on a print journey and have him squeeze a garland of behind-the-scenes stuff. I’d like them to be both scenic and technical. What do you think of this?

I’m sure we could get SmugMug to open for the price of promulgation Anton along with me (I’ll compensate for myself as usual.. we never accept paid trips or giveaway hotels, even though we get offers all the time).

Photo Reveal – 1 week from Today

In the video below, you’ll see me in the Big Sur area of California. You’ll see me receiving a print of the roller and rocks at sunset… want to see how it incited out? I’ll tell it here a week from today!

New Video – SmugMug Pro Promo

Well, this is patently an ad for SmugMug pro (didn’t compensate for my coming in the ad OR me putting it on the website, since you might be wondering)… but, on top of the blurb side, it’s also amazingly cold footage. Anton followed me around a double-wicked dusk of breeze and skin-ripping silt on the beach here in Big Sur. we insincere he knew what he was doing, but when we finished up saying the footage, we was really blown away!

If you like this “look”, we’ll arrange a lot more behind-the-scenes stuff. In destiny ones, I’ll concentration on the technical sum of the shoot, how we compose, how my camera is set up, and these sorts of matters… again, let me know if you want to see this, and I’ll put together a grave plan.

THE VAULTS

Tiny Website Tweaks

A few little things to note…

1) we combined the Google +1 to the tip of every post, page, and the categorical site.
2) we private the slow-leading Tweetboard widget that used to be on the left
3) we bound several typos in the new HDR Tutorial

Live Video Hangout Today

Come stick on live (it will be streamed and available too) – on Google+ at twelve PM PT (3 EST) today. I’ll have on Cali Lewis and John P, and we’ll be articulate photography and stuff… it’ll be fun!

Great Structures

I know we take a lot of photos of churches… we have no kind of bulletin or anything — we just simply like big, pleasing structures. It seems like in the last 500 years, churches have consistently been means to assemble the outrageous sums of income required to set up these “great structures.” The only other entities that assemble a lot of income to make “great structures” are governments, corporations, and sports teams. But, really, governments mostly set up intensely tedious things with the money. Corporations infrequently set up overwhelming buildings, but only a very small commission of them are indeed inspired. The third group, sports teams, do set up extraordinary structures, but they are all sincerely unchanging in their look and utility. Any other groups we am blank that assemble a ton of collateral to set up extraordinary things?

Daily Photo – The Vaults

I find that every time we take a print of a outrageous cathedral, like the granddaddy here in London, that we take a landscape and a mural shot. You just can’t get it all in! And then, we think, well if we could, because wouldn’t we just go forward and do a full 360 shot? Where do you stop? Hehe this is a problem in a way…

But, seriously, we regularly have difficulty enjoying panoramas and 360 grade photos on the web. Do you all agree?
