Entry from: Blackheath, Australia Entry Title: “The Blue Mountains” Entry: “Dave, Sarah and we went to the Blue Mountains at the end of July, which is 90 km west of Sydney, and a renouned week end getaway for Sydneysiders wanting some uninformed air and bushwalking. (Hiking) It’s more renouned in the summer though, which would be Dec or Janunary in the Southern Hemisphere, not July, which is when we went. While Sydney’s continue is quite mild, mostly in the 60′s in the winter, it’s aloft betterment in the Blue Mountains and quite a bit cooler; 30′s at night and 40-50s in the daytime. So, we packaged our long johns, scarves, hats, and bushwalking boots and set off to get the let car. This was our first let automobile knowledge in Australia and our first pushing on the left-hand side of the main highway experience. We did have the foreknowledge to compensate a bit more for the involuntary car, which was a big help. Sarah and we picked up the automobile in downtown Sydney and had to drive serve into downtown to collect Dave up at work prior to removing on the highway, which is a bit simpler driving. we managed to collect Dave up but incident. After he assimilated up we only gathering on the wrong side of the main highway once. Of course that one time happened to be when we were on George Street downtown and we went into the right-hand line after creation a

Red Hot…” Entry: “Having left at the back of the very old temples of Angkor, we arrived in the early hours at the complicated civilised world of Sydney, where we outlayed a pleasing few days with Rachel’s Aunt and Uncle. We took a packet float down the Paramatta River and into the superb harbour, a tour full of scenic views with the sky a splendid transparent blue, the jacaranda trees shining purple, and the overpass and show residence seeking stately in the sunshine. On another day we had fish and chips on the beach at Watsons brook and walked up the south conduct for glorious views back towards the gulf and out to sea — all in splendid fever and transparent blue skies! Further south we walked in between Tamarama and Bondi beaches, where the Sculpture by the Sea muster was going on — at slightest 100 creations pinch the cliffs and beaches, from the erotically appealing through the talented to the incomprehensible! A 3½ hour moody delivered us from the radiant city civilised world of Sydney to the remote dried armed forces of Alice Springs. For much of the stretch we looked down from 35000 feet through the bright sky to mile on mile of dull red desert, a sheer sign of just how utterly in the center of nowhere we would be.
